Style, Set, Go Series // Blair Eadie's "HUE for Fall"
As soon as September begins, my eyes begin to wander towards yellows, browns, oranges, & reds. As much as I adore the "typical" Autumn color scheme, it intrigues me to see how other fashionistas interpret this time of year.
I have learned Blair Eadie, founder of Atlantic-Pacific Blog & @blaireadiebee Instagram, is the ultimate master of incorporating unique & unexpected colors into her breathtaking outfits. Her color combinations & pieces themselves, are perpetually bold & authentic.
With the official debut of Fall & my "Style, Set, Go" series I figured, why not chitchat about a recent favorite of mine. This particular ensemble caught my eye big time. I know color is a topic that is mentioned countlessly on this blog but I believe, it's a crucial component of any article or piece. For starters, pink & green is hands down, a terrific combo, however, it is often considered one to be worn in the Spring. Correct me if I'm wrong but, I doubt you would envision a dainty pink dress, like this one, as a potential September outfit.
Well, Blair Eadie managed to do exactly so. She took a collared, button-down dress in which was ornamented with three large bows & accompanied it with a pair of deep, forest green tights.
It can be tricky to blend such contrasting colors, which is why keeping the ratio balanced & even is key. Mrs. Eadie managed to accomplish this by layering a forest green peacoat over her dress. She then wore a pair of classic, pink velvet heels to add a little more pop.
This outfit is one I fall in love with each time I see it (no pun intended)! The combination of such a rich color with a such a delicate one is a trend that is just so appealing. Definitely, one I plan on incorporating into my upcoming looks this season.
