Vanilla Blueberry Overnight Oats

It's FriYAY! To kick off this long awaited weekend, I am bringing to you one of my favorite breakfast recipes--Overnight Oats!! If you are a oatmeal lover, like myself, I promise you will fall in love with this grab 'n go, healthy meal. Basically, all you do is throw some ingredients into a jar, set it in the fridge for the night, & then by morning, voila! You have yourself a really yummy breakfast.


  • 1/2 c oats (you can use rolled or quick, whichever you prefer)

  • 1/2c - 1 c milk (you can use any type of milk. I personally prefer about 1/2c of 2 %milk for a thinker consistency)

  • 1/2 c yogurt (optional)

  • 1 tsp maple syrup (or any other natural sweetener)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • cinnamon

  • 1/2 c fresh blueberries

  • 1 tbsp whipped cream

  • chocolate chips (optional)


  1. To begin, go ahead and grab your favorite mason jar or bowl. Add in oats, milk, maple syrup, & vanilla. I also like to sprinkle in some ground cinnamon. Mix well. Set in your fridge for at least 6 hours or before going to bed.

  2. In the morning, or once your oats have set, take them out of the fridge and stir well. Depending on how much milk you use, your oats will be more or less thick. Then, add on toppings of your choice. I prefer fresh blueberries, a dollop of whipped cream, a sprinkle of sea salt, & a lot of ground cinnamon.
