My Beach Bag Essentials

For as long as I can remember my family has gone to the beach each summer. What started with driving down to Galveston, TX has now resulted in a week in Rosemary, FL. I love the beach and always have, but it isn’t all that great if you don’t have some key items. Today I will be showing y’all my beach bag necessities. Let’s dive in!

A Beach Bag

I think it would make sense that my very first essential is a beach bag. This bag is a new one for me, but I have been loving it! The best part is sense it’s burlap, the sand doesn’t get all trapped in there! Supergoop Sunscreen Mist

Keeping your skin protected is a major priority at the beach. This face sunscreen is perfect. It takes two seconds to sprits on. From there, it not only holds your makeup in place but also keeps your face from burning. P.S. to my ladies with sensitive skin, I feel you and this stuff doesn’t bother me at all!

Supergoop Lip Balm

Protecting your lips from the sun is one thing I think a lot of people don’t think off when it comes to the beach. It is still so important!! Most lip balms with spf in them taste really gross and are just not great, but this one is great! It doesn’t taste bad at all and adds a nice tint to your lips!

A Ball Cap

Back to the whole protecting your face, a baseball cap is a great way to do so. Also, it isn’t too difficult to find a cute one like this!

A Good Read

The beach is one of the best places to enjoy a good book. The Notebook is my current read right now and it is a must for any romantics out there. To see the other books on my summer reading list click here. I have also loved reading off my kindle because its so easy to carry around and light weight.

Sunnies

If you plan on spending the day in the waves or the sand, you must bring some cheap sunnies. I love these inexpensive tortoise frames and they do their job!

H2O

When you are outside in the hot sun all day it is a good idea to stay hydrated! I have been loving grapefruit Perriers and coconut La Croix’s!!
